The meeting has received 100 abstract submissions from authors representing 28 different countries, reflecting the strong international engagement and scientific vitality of the liver sinusoid research community. This excellent response confirms that ISHSR 2026 is shaping up to be a highly global and scientifically diverse meeting, in line with the society’s tradition of excellence and close interaction.
The Scientific Committee has now started the abstract evaluation process, and authors will be notified of acceptance and presentation format by the end of this month.
Given the high interest in this edition, we strongly encourage all participants to register as soon as possible to secure their spot at the meeting. Please also note that May is relatively high season in Tarragona, and early booking of accommodation is highly recommended.
As part of our commitment to supporting young investigators, first authors of the top 10 highest-scoring abstracts who are junior researchers will receive free registration.
