We are pleased to announce that the advanced version of the scientific program for the 23rd Liver Sinusoid Meeting (LSM 2026) is now available. The meeting will take place in Tarragona, Spain, from May 23 to 26, 2026, and will mark the 50th anniversary of the International Society for Hepatic Sinusoidal Research (ISHSR).

The program has been designed to cover the main areas of liver sinusoidal biology, including endothelial cell function in health, aging, and disease; hepatic stellate cell activation and fibrosis; extracellular matrix remodelling; inflammation and immune responses in liver diseases; and cellular & organ crosstalk. In addition, the meeting will include lectures focused on translational approaches and emerging therapeutic strategies, including advanced in vitro models, nanomedicine, and multi-omics technologies.

The scientific program includes invited lectures from international experts and oral presentations selected from submitted abstracts, ensuring a high-quality and up-to-date scientific discussion.

Due to the expected attendance for this special edition, early registration is recommended. Participants are also encouraged to arrange accommodation in advance, as May is a high-demand period in Tarragona. The meeting is scheduled immediately before the European Association for the Study of the Liver Congress 2026 in Barcelona, and transportation between both events will be organized.

Further practical information regarding the venue, travel, and accommodation is available on the meeting website.
